About the job
Hourly position as mother tongue teacher and study counselor for students in primary school grades F-9. Languages in demand are English, Armenian, Meänkieli, Finnish, Romani and Thai.
Who are you
You have a Swedish teaching degree or a teaching degree from abroad that can be documented and validated by the University and higher education exam, or have started Swedish teacher training. Other pedagogical education is also seen as an asset. Experience of work in preschool and/or teaching in primary school, upper secondary school and adult education is seen as meriting consideration. We see it as positive that you speak several languages since our children and students come from all over the world.
Your Swedish and your mother tongue should be so good that you can express yourself in speech and writing at an academic level.
You who are applying should have good computer skills. The work requires good collaboration skills, flexibility and great responsibility.
A driving license and access to a car are required as you work in all the municipality's preschools, primary schools and also upper secondary school (applies to study counseling).
Consideration is given to personal suitability.

Hourly position with start according to agreement.
We apply individual and differentiated salary setting. For the position, the monthly salary is between 32,000 and 37,000 SEK, depending on experience, education and competence.
Criminal Records Register
Before offering employment, you as a candidate are required to show an extract from the criminal records register for work within any of the following work areas; school or preschool, work with children in activities other than school and child care, work with children according to LSS, work at or in connection with care homes, work with elderly or people with disabilities. You order the extract via the Police website. The extract must be presented before employment can commence.
