JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will teach Vietnamese mother tongue and, if needed, provide study guidance in multiple subjects within primary school, adapted primary school, upper secondary school, and adapted upper secondary school. Your job responsibilities include: • planning, implementing, and following up on instruction in Vietnamese mother tongue • maintaining continuous contact with guardians regarding student development • school-wide values-based work • collaborative team work • providing study guidance in Vietnamese when needed • collaboration with teaching staff regarding study guidance • collaboration with student welfare teams, school leadership, and external partners • work with and document in the management systems used in the municipality • analyzing instruction and results • contributing to the development of instruction to achieve high results QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is a certified mother tongue teacher in Vietnamese. In addition to having Vietnamese as your mother tongue, you must master the Swedish language so that you can communicate with students, colleagues, and guardians, and so that you can document in writing what the operations require. You have good knowledge of and strong commitment to mother tongue instruction and want to motivate and stimulate students to increase their knowledge of their mother tongue. You conduct inspiring and varied lessons with a focus on each student's knowledge development. As a person, you are organized and have the ability to plan, organize, and analyze student learning. You are a secure and clear leader in the classroom and easily create engagement and study discipline. Through an open, accommodating, and problem-solving approach, you contribute to good collaboration and easily build good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. To contribute to the mother tongue unit's continued digital development, you are expected to possess good IT skills and be able to easily adopt different digital systems. Experience with Teams and Haldor is meritorious. To manage the assignment as a study guide, you should, in addition to having good knowledge of Swedish, have good insight into the Swedish school system and have good subject knowledge. If you have experience working with language-development methods or Swedish as a second language, that is an advantage. A driver's license and access to your own car are desirable but not required.
