WORK DUTIES
The work duties include lesson planning and teaching, follow-up, evaluation, contact with guardians, and grading. You provide students with the guidance and stimulation they need in their learning and personal development based on their individual circumstances. You will be part of a work team and collaborate with colleagues as well as teachers and other staff at the school.
As a native language teacher, you are responsible for each student's native language education in the teaching groups assigned to you. Other work duties may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has
• Swedish teaching credentials or an approved teacher education from your home country.
• Experience in native language instruction and good knowledge of the opportunities and challenges of bilingualism.
• Good familiarity with the school's governing documents, such as the Education Act and curriculum, and strong computer skills for work with documentation, communication, and digital tools and resources in teaching.
• Teaching certification is a requirement for permanent employment. You also have strong proficiency in both Swedish and the language you will be teaching.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
The Municipality applies individual salary determination. Start date by agreement or at the latest August 27, 2026. This position is a fixed-term, part-time employment.
