DUTIES Your work tasks include preparing, teaching, and assessing students' abilities according to Lgr 22. The position involves participating in collaborative learning and professional development for native language teachers. Native language instruction takes place after school hours. Study guidance may be included in the position. You will be the bridge between the Swedish school and the student's previous schooling. To succeed in this, you should maintain ongoing contact with the student's mentor/class teacher. QUALIFICATIONS You have a Swedish or foreign teaching degree, or alternatively a foreign academic degree, and you have Spanish as your native language. You have good insight into and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply them in daily work. The position requires strong Swedish language skills, at least upper secondary Swedish 2, good IT skills, and experience using digital technology in teaching. It is meritorious if you have knowledge in mathematics, natural sciences, and social studies if study guidance is part of the position. As a person, you are genuinely interested in children and young people and their development. To succeed in the role of native language teacher/study guide, you need strong organizational and collaboration skills, enjoy working independently, and be able to take own initiatives. Your approach is characterized by respect, openness, and curiosity. Native language instruction takes place primarily after students' school hours and may be held at various schools throughout the municipality. Since instruction occurs at all municipal schools, a class B driver's license is required. An excerpt from the police criminal record for schools and preschools must be presented before employment can be offered.
