Central Reception for Newly Arrived, CMN, has the task of receiving and conducting an initial assessment of newly arrived children and students' learning. CMN also has coordination responsibility for mother tongue instruction and study guidance. With that said, we want to welcome you to our team! Surely you also want one of the world's most important jobs? 1 position(s). WORK TASKS You will work as a mother tongue teacher in primary school. Your workplace will be various school units and different school forms where children and students are present. Your teaching will take place in the form of on-site instruction. As a secondary option, remote teaching may be an alternative. Upon employment, you will receive an introduction regarding your work tasks. You will receive ongoing support in your professional role through various support functions at the workplace. The position comprises 10% and is limited-term for the period 260810-270731. QUALIFICATIONS We prefer that you are a certified teacher with a Swedish teaching degree or that you have documented foreign teacher training. If you lack teacher training but can demonstrate that you have another relevant university degree, that can go a long way. It is meritorious if you have work experience from Swedish schools and are familiar with the Education Act and curricula for different school forms. We therefore expect you to share these values and can implement them in words and actions. You can adapt and vary your teaching. You are a good classroom leader and can create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and management. It is also meritorious if you have digital skills and abilities so that you can conduct mother tongue instruction remotely. You are flexible, collaborative, and independent. You are positive to new ideas and working methods and want to continually develop your teaching with learning in focus. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Work as a mother tongue teacher will give you rich opportunities to meet newly arrived and multilingual children and young people, and your contribution makes a difference. We apply vacation service 40h/week with flexible hours. The position is filled subject to the condition that a regular teacher is not available. Employment form: Limited-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer. Please enclose your teacher certification or diploma. A criminal background check must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
