The Competence Center for Multilingualism works to give students the opportunity to receive instruction in their mother tongue and study guidance in the language they master best. The organization currently has 38 different languages represented. We collaborate with both municipal and independent school administrators, from preschool through upper secondary school.
Students who have at least one guardian with a mother tongue other than Swedish are given the opportunity to study their language as a separate school subject. Through mother tongue instruction, students strengthen their multilingualism, develop their identity, and build pride in their language and background.
We are now seeking a mother tongue teacher in Maban!
