Central Reception for Newly Arrived, CMN, has the mission to receive and conduct an initial assessment of newly arrived children and students' learning. CMN also has coordination responsibility for native language instruction and study guidance. With that said, we want to welcome you to our team! Your workplace will be various school units and different school forms where children and students are located. Your instruction will be conducted in the form of in-person teaching. Secondarily, distance instruction may be an alternative. Upon employment, you will receive an introduction regarding your work tasks. You will receive ongoing support in your professional role through various support functions at the workplace. The position comprises 5% and is time-limited for the period 260810-270731. QUALIFICATIONS We prefer that you are a certified teacher with a Swedish teaching degree or that you have documented foreign teacher education. If you lack teacher training but can demonstrate that you have other appropriate university education, that can go a long way. It is meritorious if you have work experience from Swedish schools and are familiar with the School Act and curricula for different school forms. We therefore expect you to share that value base and can realize it in word and deed. You can adapt and vary your instruction. You are a good classroom leader and can create trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and management. It is also meritorious if you have digital skills and competencies so that you can conduct native language instruction remotely. You are flexible, collaborative, and self-directed. You are positive toward new ideas and work methods and want to continuously develop your instruction with learning in focus. Great weight is placed on personal suitability. Work as a native language teacher will give you rich opportunities to meet newly arrived and multilingual children and youth, and your contribution makes a difference. The employment is time-limited during the 26/27 school year. We apply vacation service 40h/week with flextime. Form of Employment: Time-limited employment. Duration: 6 months or longer. Please attach your teacher certification or degree certificate. An extract from the criminal record must be presented before employment in preschool and primary school.
