The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary school, after-school care centers, upper secondary school, and adult education.

JOB DUTIES
Your work includes planning, implementing, and assessing students based on the curriculum in native language—Finnish as a national minority language—within the framework of Finnish as a first language and Finnish as a second language. Teaching will be conducted in heterogeneous, smaller groups at multiple schools in Sigtuna Municipality and possibly in Knivsta Municipality.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for you with work experience as a native language teacher. Teacher training or other pedagogical education is a significant plus. Similarly, training in languages is valued.
You should be well-grounded in Lgr 22 and be able to work with digital tools in teaching to promote student learning.
As a person, you are positive, engaged, and want to contribute to good language development in our students. You enjoy working with children and young people and can build good relationships with both students and their parents. You can work independently but also collaborate closely with others. You are a reliable adult, have good communication skills, and want to develop in your teaching role.
It is also an asset to have a category B driver's license and access to your own car, as the position involves travel between different schools and workplaces.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, ending: 2027-10-31.
