JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a native language teacher in English, you are responsible for teaching native language instruction to students with these language backgrounds. The work takes place at multiple schools and includes planning, implementation, and follow-up of instruction. You create clear and safe learning situations and adapt instruction according to students' level and needs. The role involves collaboration with both guardians, school staff, and other native language teachers in the municipality.
You contribute by:
• planning and conducting instruction based on curriculum documents
• adapting instruction to students' needs
• creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
• collaborating with students, guardians, school staff, and native language teachers
• using digital tools in instruction

QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive in this role, it is important to have an interest in languages and enjoy working with students from different backgrounds. Warm and attentive communication makes it easy to build trust and create safe instruction. A structured work approach helps you in planning, while flexibility allows you to easily adapt to different situations in the school day. Curiosity, collaboration, and an inclusive perspective help students have good opportunities to develop and help us make each other better.
The position requires:
• teacher certification with qualification in native language instruction
• very good knowledge in the native language
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
We would appreciate it if you have experience in native language instruction, as well as good IT skills and experience using digital tools. A driver's license and access to a car would facilitate the work.
