Duties As a native language teacher, you will teach children and young people Finnish as their native language. Teaching takes place outside regular school hours, in the afternoon at one of the municipality's schools. Duties: - Plan and conduct instruction according to the curriculum in the native language subject - Assess students' knowledge against learning objectives for the native language subject - Work and document in our activity systems The scope of this position is estimated to be approximately 10% of full-time. About the Operation The Native Language Unit works to support children and students in their learning. Together with other native language teachers, you will drive and develop the operation based on our governing documents and the goals in the curriculum and course plan. Qualifications We are looking for you who - Have Finnish as your native language - Express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing - Have post-secondary education - Have experience in bilingual instruction - Are well familiar with governing documents that apply to instruction and can translate these into meaningful learning As a person, you are responsible, structured, have a holistic perspective, and a professional demeanor. With commitment and the ability to work independently and in groups, you find solutions to be able to offer instruction for all your students under current circumstances. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and collaboration skills. Teacher certification is a merit. Nykvarns Municipality is a Finnish-speaking administrative area, and we see it as a merit if you speak Finnish.
