We are looking for someone with a strong interest in IT, knowledge and experience that can enrich our digitalization journey and who wants to make a difference in society within your profession. Job Description We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to increasing IT department's local support in our core operations and who is passionate about helping and educating other people with digital tools. You have a strong interest in understanding the needs and requirements of staff members. Your service role will be an important interface between the IT department and our core operations. You will be part of a unique initiative for Kriminalvården that involves creating a new type of local IT support for our core operations. You will be placed in the IT department under the Unit for IT Service Center and will spend a lot of time in our core operations in client-related work. In your geographic service area, you will handle IT Service cases in our core operations, prisons, remand centers, and probation services. Our operations are conducted at different locations throughout the country, which means travel within your regional area to a significant extent, and occasionally overnight stays. Kriminalvården provides pool cars for these services that are used during working hours. In your service role, you will creatively contribute to increased digital maturity in the operations by, for example, acting as an advisor, guiding and supporting staff regarding IT department services, and help develop local IT security work. You will also support operations with IT service cases, assist IT support with problem-solving, contribute to service development by continuously gathering improvement suggestions and feedback on IT services and applications, and help the IT department with specific assignments, such as implementations and hardware lifecycle management. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and loyal, with the ability to work both independently and in a structured manner. You have pedagogical insight that enables you to adapt your communication to the recipient and you contribute constructively to team collaboration. We are looking for someone who has: • Complete upper secondary education in the form of a final diploma or upper secondary school certificate, or alternatively other education combined with experience that Kriminalvården deems relevant • Experience in IT or technical service • Experience working in Kriminalvården's core operations • Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written • Category B driving license It is also advantageous to have: • Education with an IT focus • Experience providing support to end users • Experience working as an on-site technician or similar • Knowledge and understanding of service management and its support • Knowledge of hardware regarding PCs, thin terminals, laptops, printers, video equipment • Understanding of the complexity of working in larger organizations Other Information Kriminalvården has decided to remove the personal letter and replaced it with selection questions relevant to the position.
