We are now looking for service technicians who want to work on an as-needed basis, especially during the more intensive tire seasons in spring and fall, but with the possibility of work throughout the year. As the company grows, there are excellent career opportunities available.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a service technician, you are an important part of the customer experience and the person who performs the service on-site at the customer's location. A typical workday might involve driving to a business office in the city, performing a tire change, checking tread depth, and loading tires into the service vehicle. Next, you head to Solna to pick up wheels that need to be transported to a tire storage facility.
There is no traditional workshop or fixed workplace—the service vehicle is your workshop, and the customer's parking lot, driveway, or garage becomes your work location. The role is practical and physically demanding, where heavy lifting and tire work are a natural part of daily operations. Therefore, it's important that you enjoy an active work environment and have good physical fitness.
You are also service-oriented and enjoy meeting customers in a professional and friendly manner. Since you often work independently, you need to be solution-oriented and able to handle situations that arise on your own. You see what needs to be done, take initiative, and find good solutions when something doesn't go according to plan.
The role suits you if you enjoy variety, like being out on the road, and appreciate that no two days are the same.
To thrive in this role, we'd like to see that you:
- Hold a valid B-class driver's license and are comfortable driving in the Stockholm area
- Are physically comfortable with heavy lifting and practical outdoor work year-round
- Find it easy to work independently and take responsibility for your assignments
- Are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with people
- Have previous experience with tire changes, vehicle service, or similar practical work—an advantage but not required
PRACTICAL DETAILS
This is a flexible position with Tayer, with the opportunity to work as needed Monday through Sunday.
