Medical Director (MLA) is an exciting role that gives you excellent opportunities to drive medical development within Primary Care through dedicated time and space in working groups where you can influence the design of our future Primary Care services. Primary Care Berg Bräcke Ragunda consists of health centers in Myrviken, Svenstavik, Bräcke, Kälarne, Hammarstrand and Stugun. Additionally, branches in Storsjö chapel, Gällö and Bispgården. The ambulance stations in Svenstavik, Bräcke and Hammarstrand are also included but have their own Medical Director. You combine the MLA role with a clinical position at one of the region's health centers. The area has excellent collaboration between different professional categories. We work with high service standards and always with the patient in focus. You have a personalized role with your own patient list. This approach provides increased opportunities for home visits and the ability to provide security to patients who need it most. The region's health centers are well-functioning units with a rural profile where we work together as a team. Doctors, midwives, district nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, assistants and rehabilitation coordinators work here. In Svenstavik and Hammarstrand we have our own X-ray departments with radiologic technologists; Bräcke is starting up in the fall. The units also have PSM (psychosocial clinic) with psychologists and social workers, as well as physiotherapy with physical therapists and occupational therapists. The position is a permanent employment as a general practitioner with a four-year appointment as Medical Director. 1 position(s). DUTIES You are passionate about driving our medical development towards Primary Care. You will be part of developing the health centers in the continued transition to Primary Care and the transition following the Comorbidity Investigation's decision. You have a strong ability to work both independently and in a team. You stand for your ideas but can also support others' ideas to best achieve development and implementation. We have a strong focus on Choosing Wisely where you as Medical Director become an important function. Together with the operations manager, PLA (psychological management responsible), operations developer, unit managers and colleagues with MLU roles at the units, we drive these issues in a good working climate with the patient in focus. You become the operations manager's closest medical support, part of the region's management group and collaborate with the region's PLA and MLU from each unit. You participate in working groups with Medical Directors at both primary care and regional levels. You work as Medical Director 30% and the remaining time as a general practitioner at one of the region's units. Large portions of the time can, if desired, be arranged as remote work. Working as a general practitioner with us means you assess, investigate, treat and provide advice to patients in primary care with various types of conditions and issues. You work with health promotion, group activities and you collaborate with other professions at the health center. You will work based on evidence-based methods individually, in group activities and via internet. We actively work to develop our treatment offerings, promote good living habits, and prevent long-term sick leave and promote rapid return to work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine with Swedish medical license and good ability to communicate in Swedish in speech and writing. You have experience working in Primary Care. You are passionate about continuing to drive our development towards Primary Care, you stand for ideas but can also support others' ideas to best achieve development and implementation. As a person, we see that you are positive, humble and prefer to work in a solution-oriented manner. Additionally, we would like to see that you have a structured and flexible working approach. You should have good initiative, an open mindset and be open to changes within the operations area. Requirements include independent work, good patient interaction, good collaboration skills and professional responsibility. As a general practitioner in clinical work, you enjoy working in a team together with other professions close to the patient. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
