MiM Seeks Ambassadors – A Social and Varied Job

Want to make a difference for young people? Become an ambassador for MiM! Do you enjoy meeting new people and want a job where you can develop while contributing to something meaningful? MiM Knowledge Center is continuously seeking new ambassadors who want to strengthen youth participation, self-confidence, and agency. As an ambassador, you are an important part of MiM and one of our faces to the public. You meet young people, represent our organization, and help us create activities where people feel welcome, included, and involved. What does a MiM ambassador do? Tasks can vary depending on the activity and assignment. You may: represent MiM at activities and events welcome participants and contribute to a safe and inclusive atmosphere talk with young people and tell them about our organization, activities, and opportunities spread information about MiM at schools, youth centers, associations, and other places where young people gather assist with practical tasks before, during, and after activities contribute to the organization's communication and social media photograph, film, or create content from our activities Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who wants to develop, take responsibility, and contribute to a positive environment for other young people. We think you're a great fit as an ambassador if you: enjoy meeting and talking with people are responsible and arrive on time are open, respectful, and inclusive dare to take initiative and help where needed can collaborate with others want to learn new things and develop stand behind democratic values and the principle of equal worth for all people. You don't need any previous work experience. For us, your commitment, attitude, and willingness to develop are more important than a long CV. Meritorious – but not required It's a plus if you have experience or interest in any of the following: club or youth activities leadership or engaging others events and activities service or work where you meet people social media and content creation photography or film student council, youth council, non-profit organizations, or other forms of engagement Do you lack that experience? About MiM Knowledge Center MiM Knowledge Center is a non-profit organization that operates open activities and develops projects for and together with young people ages 16-30 in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, and the EU. Since our founding in 1997, we have worked on inclusion issues and fought for young people experiencing social exclusion to be able to influence their lives and societal development. Our focus is primarily to support young people toward employment and education, train youth leaders, inspire increased civic engagement, and offer young people meaningful leisure time. Because MiM operates together with young people and it is they who influence which projects and activities we start, it is also thanks to them that the organization is successful and continues to grow. As an ambassador, you represent MiM when meeting young people and the public and become an important part of the work to get more young people to discover and participate in our organization. Employment and compensation Work is on an hourly basis, and working hours and scope can vary depending on our activities and current assignments. You receive hourly pay for the hours you work. More information about employment terms and compensation will be provided during the recruitment process.
