About the jobVerdis is responsible for waste collection on Gotland, with Region Gotland as our client and partner. To strengthen our department, we are now looking for dedicated and positive environmental workers with C-license and YKB. As an environmental worker, you hold a key role in the company. You are Verdis' face to the world and you will be one of our everyday heroes helping to keep Gotland clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the waste management assignment is carried out in accordance with the company's procedures and our client's requirements. You will operate from our depot in Visby and report to local management. Your work tasks include, among other things: - Collection and transport of waste - Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment - Incident reporting - Daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment Who are you?We are looking for someone who has a C-license and YKB and who speaks Swedish fluently both orally and in writing. The following experience and knowledge are seen as advantageous: - Experience driving heavy vehicles - Knowledge of heavy vehicles - Experience with some type of waste collection - Local knowledge (Gotland) - Good computer skills This position is suitable for you if you thrive with dynamic work at a fast pace and have good physical fitness.
