About the role
As an Environmental Worker in Stockholm, you are responsible for the collection, sorting, and safe handling of waste and recyclable materials. You work hands-on in the field with machinery, sampling, remediation, and documentation — all to protect the environment and your local community. What you will do
Collect, sort, and load waste and recyclable materials
Operate and maintain recycling centers and facilities
Perform remediation and sampling at contaminated sites
Operate and handle transportation and machinery according to safety procedures
Document work and report according to environmental regulations
Collaborate with colleagues and local stakeholders
Ensure workplace safety and follow occupational health procedures
What you bring
Secondary education or equivalent experience in environmental work, recycling, or construction
Experience in waste management, remediation, or facility operations; forklift certification or machinery experience is a plus
Swedish in speech and writing, and typically a B-class driver's license
You are driven and take responsibility for your work
You deliver high quality every time
