We are now looking for an Environmental Coordinator for a well-established construction company that creates modern and functional buildings for agriculture, industry, public sector, and residential use. About the Role As an Environmental Coordinator, you will be a central part of the company's work with climate and environmental declarations linked to construction projects. Since this position is new within the organization, you will have great opportunities to shape both work methods, routines, and content. You will collect, analyze, and compile data from ongoing projects, as well as work on developing processes within both environment and occupational health. The role involves close contact with project managers, site managers, and other functions within the organization. The work is based at the office in Töreboda, but also involves some travel to projects. Examples of Work Tasks Collect, analyze, and compile data for climate declarations Work with environmental and sustainability-related materials throughout the entire project process Support the organization on matters concerning environmental requirements, climate impact, and documentation Participate in developing routines and work methods within environment and occupational health Follow up on projects' environmental data and ensure correct reporting in accordance with applicable requirements Conduct site visits to projects to gather information and quality assure materials We Are Looking for You as Someone Who You are thorough, analytical, and passionate about sustainable construction. We Would Like to See That You Have 1–2 years of experience with climate or environmental declarations within the construction sector Post-secondary education or course in climate or environmental areas (e.g., education in climate declarations, building and environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental management, or similar) Good experience working with data, documentation, and reporting Ability to work independently and drive matters forward B-class driver's license Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience from construction projects or construction production Knowledge of Boverket's requirements for climate declarations Experience with occupational health work or environmental management systems Experience with software related to climate calculations About the Customer Our customer is a stable and well-reputed construction company that has been active in the industry for over 30 years. They build for agriculture, industry, public sector, and residential use, and over the years have completed projects such as animal stalls, equestrian facilities, industrial premises, sports halls, schools, and residential buildings.
