Töreboda and Gullspång municipalities have decided to collaborate in the environmental and building sectors and are in the startup phase of creating a completely new environmental and building operation. The operation is responsible for the municipalities' work with regulatory authority in the environmental and building sectors, the municipalities' work with surveying, maps and GIS, as well as licensing and supervision of the sale of alcohol and tobacco. We are seeking five environmental and health protection inspectors who together will be responsible for the operation's commitments in the environmental and health protection sector.

Job duties
As an environmental and health protection inspector, you will primarily work with case management and supervision within the Environmental Code and other environmental and protection legislation. You plan your work tasks, supervision, carry out inspections, write reports and decisions and more. You will present cases for the environmental and building committee. The operation is responsible for the entire municipality's environmental and health protection work as well as handling and supervision of the sale of alcohol, tobacco and over-the-counter medicines.

Above are the areas the operation is responsible for. The positions can potentially be combined within several areas depending on experience, expertise and interest.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has relevant university/college education in environmental and health protection or other education that the employer deems equivalent and has work experience in the environmental and health protection sector.
You have a good ability to communicate clearly in speech and writing, are service and solution-oriented with professional and adapted conduct. You take great personal responsibility and work independently and unpretentiously in a group.
The position involves a lot of contact with companies, citizens, decision-makers and others, and it is important that you are confident in your work and have an open approach and positive attitude.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability and the possibility of combining the five positions. We are currently forming a completely new environmental operation with the goal of putting together a team with varied backgrounds, expertise and experience. We envision that the positions could be fairly broad within the environmental sector, we therefore want you in your application to describe your main area as well as which areas within environmental and health protection you are interested in working with and if possible developing within.
B-level driver's license is required.
As an environmental and health protection inspector, you can expect a salary of approximately 36,000 - 48,000 SEK depending on experience and expertise. Individual salary setting is applied.
