The Environment and Health Protection Administration is a supervisory authority within the municipal corporation. We have an important role in the municipality's delivery of welfare services and continued development. The operations include supervision and advice as well as development within environmental and health protection and food. We are approximately 30 employees organized in three units and the experience among us is that we are proud of our pleasant workplace. In both large and small matters, we work according to the municipality's overarching vision that Varberg should be the creative center of the west coast.

WORK TASKS
Today we are 20 employees at the Environment and Health Protection Administration working with supervision according to the Environmental Code and we are now looking for an additional inspector for the team. Which supervision areas are included in the position are not fully determined, some are expected to be supervision of small sewage systems but other parts within the Environmental Code area will also be relevant.
For this position, our goal is to optimize the content of the work tasks for environmental code supervision based on interest, competence and the administration's needs. The work also involves informing and providing advice based on the legislation, guiding and supporting companies/business operators. The work is varied and you have great opportunity to influence how the work is planned and carried out. Together we make an annual distribution in connection with supervision planning where we try to create an attractive variety of work tasks and optimize the different aspects where the administration's common needs however take priority. Work tasks within food supervision can occur as needed and based on competence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Environment and health protection education or other education that the employer considers equivalent.
Experience of having previously worked as an environment and health protection inspector is a merit.
For this position, in-depth knowledge and experience of authority work within the areas is a merit. Good computer skills we also see as an advantage. We work with the case management system Ecos. Since work at an authority places special demands, your personal qualities are valued very highly. You should also be interested in working in a group and are therefore service-oriented and put the group before yourself. But work joy, flexibility and a ready laugh are just as important.
