In this role, you'll among other things: • Sample preparation: embedding, cutting, grinding, polishing, and etching • Image capture with optical microscope • Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) as needed • Image analysis, for example porosity and grain size evaluation • Operation, maintenance, and development of laboratory equipment Who are we looking for? We're looking for someone who is meticulous, self-driven, and has a genuine interest in microscopy and metallography. To succeed in this role, we believe that you: • Have technical education at least at upper secondary school level, preferably at university level or equivalent experience • Have a few years of experience in practical laboratory work • Are genuinely interested in microscopy and metallography • Are meticulous, self-driven, and quality-conscious • Are comfortable with both independent work and teamwork • Communicate fluently in Swedish and English Meritorious: Experience in practical laboratory work, experience with microscopy work, further education in metallography, or experience with electron microscopy (SEM).
