What does a migration case officer do? As a migration case officer, you work with processing, investigating, deciding and preparing proposals for decisions in various types of cases. The decisions have legal effect for individuals and affect their entitlement to benefits, rights and obligations. In addition, you work with administration where you manage files and documents that have been received or created in a case. In your role, you meet and have conversations with people who have a case with the Swedish Migration Agency and other stakeholders. These conversations can involve notifying people of decisions or informing about the Migration Agency's processes as well as providing guidance and service. You identify and handle any special needs of individuals and, where applicable, conduct conversations with adults and children in vulnerable situations. Who are you? You who are applying have Academic education of at least 120 credits with a legal, social science or behavioral science focus or other education combined with relevant and current experience for the role Knowledge of administrative law matters Good communication skills and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish and English It is meritious if you have Current experience working with administrative law matters Experience in case processing work with high demands for good service and professional conduct.
