We're looking for a methods technician for our customer's aftermarket team, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring their machinery receives optimal service. About the Role As a methods technician, you're responsible for developing, standardizing, and improving work methods, processes, and technical solutions. You'll work closely with production, engineering, and aftermarket teams to ensure high quality, efficiency, and serviceability throughout the product's lifecycle. You'll drive improvement initiatives, analyze work processes, and contribute technical expertise in both development projects and daily operations. Example Work Areas: Participate in industrialization of new products and product modifications. Drive continuous improvements according to Lean principles and the company's production system. Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance. Responsible for methods development with focus on safety, quality, delivery precision, and cost-effectiveness. You'll be based at our customer's site in Eskilstuna with a start as soon as possible. The need is long-term. About You We're looking for someone with a strong technical interest who thrives in a role where you can combine analysis, problem-solving, and operational development. You have experience from manufacturing industry, production technology, or methods development and are motivated by streamlining processes and finding sustainable solutions. You're organized, take initiative, and have the ability to drive improvement work from idea to implementation. You enjoy multiple points of contact and collaborate easily with production, quality, maintenance, and other support functions. You're communicative and can translate technical requirements and analyses into practical and user-friendly work methods. We believe you have: Technical education in, for example, mechanical engineering, production technology, or equivalent experience. Experience from manufacturing industry and production-related work. Knowledge of process development, Lean, and continuous improvements. Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and drive improvement measures. Experience with technical documentation and work instructions. Strong knowledge of Swedish and English.
