LATVIJAS NACIONĀLĀ AIZSARDZĪBAS AKADĒMIJA invites applications for the position of METHODOLOGIST Job Responsibilities: Monitor student academic performance and compile academic records at the end of each semester. Prepare examination protocols and enter grades into the administrative database. Prepare reports for the Academic Board. Conduct and compile surveys of students, graduates, and employers. Collect thesis topics submitted by instructors and, in collaboration with the study program director, distribute them among students. Prepare a list of student thesis topics for the Academic Board. Participate in organizing internship defense, thesis pre-defense, and defense commissions, document commission proceedings. Prepare pre-defense and defense results. Prepare graduate diplomas and diploma supplements in two languages. Monitor and update course descriptions in collaboration with the study program director and instructors. In collaboration with program directors, prepare self-assessment reports. Requirements for Candidates: Compliance with the requirements of Section 9 of the Law "On State Secrets". Bachelor's or Master's degree, or professional higher education; Desired knowledge (understanding, experience) of higher education study programs; Experience in a higher education institution will be considered an advantage. Proficiency in MS WORD, MS EXCEL, MS POWER POINT applications. Excellent knowledge of Latvian; good knowledge of English (for communication with visiting lecturers and organization of international events). Knowledge of work organization procedures and related regulatory acts. Ability to critically analyze information, prioritize tasks, and make decisions. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to use information and communication technologies in daily work. We Offer: A permanent employment contract. Regular working hours—8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with the possibility of performing job duties remotely (subject to separate agreement). Work location—Ezermalas iela 8B, Riga, LV-1014.
