Solhemsskolan is a four-parallel F-6 school with approximately 745 students and 100 staff members. Solhemsskolan consists of two school units, Solhemsskolan and Solhemsängens skola. School leadership consists of a principal and three assistant principals as well as an administrative director. Your role This is a substitute position for the 26/27 school year and the placement is in grade 5. We are looking for a certified teacher. You have the qualifications to teach grades 4-6 in math/science/technology/English. It is beneficial if you also have qualifications in English. As a person, you are confident, stable, have self-awareness, and are a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Your communication with colleagues, students, and guardians is professional, thoughtful, and clear. In the classroom, you see the importance of your role as a knowledgeable, teaching educator. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other assignments that are part of your role in an efficient manner. You have the ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and understand students' results and needs, and you structure and adapt your teaching so that a safe and adequate learning environment is created. Your students are offered opportunities for student-active and engaging contexts, both individually and cooperatively. Your competence and experience Teacher's degree with qualifications in science subjects, technology, mathematics, and English Broad qualifications, such as F-6 or 1-7, is an advantage Teacher certification Experience working with children with special educational needs and gifted students is beneficial Stockholm City works with competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thereby preventing discrimination. To work at our schools, you must provide a valid extract from the police criminal record and suspicion register before a job offer is made. Within the Education Administration, we apply individual salary setting regulated by HÖK and General Terms (AB).
