JOB DUTIES As a teacher with us, you will be part of a municipal operation with a focus on knowledge, safety and equitable education. You are responsible for planning, implementation and follow-up of instruction in accordance with the curriculum, in close collaboration with colleagues where you are part of a work team. As a substitute teacher, you will teach students in grades 4-6. You plan, implement and follow up on instruction together with the work team and contribute to a safe and inspiring learning environment. This position is a temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension. The position is currently located at Gårdbyskolan, Korpilombolo. QUALIFICATIONS You are a certified teacher for primary school grades 4-6. You have a structured work approach and a good ability to plan instruction based on students' needs. We would like to see that you have knowledge of language development methods. You are also interested in school development and want to reflect and change together with your colleagues with the students, where their learning is in focus. You have a desire to develop in your work and will be active in the school's collegial learning. You are flexible, see collaboration as important and are solution-focused. Knowledge of low-arousal behavior management and special education is meritorious. If a qualified teacher is unavailable, an unqualified person may be employed on a temporary basis. A high school diploma is a requirement. The person offered employment must provide a certificate from the register maintained according to the Act (1998:620) on criminal records, as required by the School Act (2010:800). Employment type: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-14, end date: 2027-08-20. We only accept digital applications.
