ABOUT THE POSITION: As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll work on design and physical integration of equipment and systems in marine platforms. Once the basic structure is established, you'll work on adapting and detailed design of installations for mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems. The focus is on how pipes, cables, machinery, and other technical equipment are placed and work together in the vessel. The work also includes creating and updating design documentation and technical specifications. Existing designs are continuously adapted based on technical requirements and production conditions, for example through adjustment of cable routing, pipe systems, or equipment placement to ensure function, accessibility, and assemblability. The work takes place primarily in CAD and PLM environments, where Creo and Windchill are central tools. WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have a degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent engineering education Have worked at least one year as a Mechanical Design Engineer (experience with Creo and Windchill is a merit) Have some practical background and good understanding of production, preferably through work in manufacturing industry Have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating across multiple functions Are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, as both languages are used daily in the organization Military background is a merit but not a requirement. The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to applicable security clearance regulations.
