Company Presentation For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. The company is, thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, an established partner in the energy sector that delivers advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment where development opportunities are abundant. This is initially a consulting assignment of 6 months via Unik Resurs with very good opportunity for extension. We apply continuous selection which means that the assignment may be filled earlier than the final application deadline. Tasks and Responsibilities Do you want to work in an open and collaboration-oriented environment where knowledge sharing, development, and support among colleagues are a given? Then this could be the role for you. You will become part of an engaged team responsible for all installation design within our research and development projects. Since the team works closely with system design, you are offered a varied workday with many technical challenges and development opportunities. Here you will daily deepen your knowledge of steel structures and mechanical installation solutions while building a broad network through many internal and external contacts. Tasks Design steel structures and installation solutions and produce manufacturing documentation in NX. Establish and maintain technical documentation related to design and installation. Participate in development and improvement projects regarding product standards, technical solutions, and features. Contribute to ensuring technical solutions are cost-effective, quality-assured, and meet applicable requirements. Collaborate with procurement and subcontractors to develop technical solutions and solve general technical problems, including root cause analyses. Complete, update, and quality-assure technical documentation. Cooperate with other subsystems and contribute to the overall design philosophy for gas turbine packages. Ensure that design work is carried out according to the project schedule together with the project team. Create, review, and update investigations and documentation within your technical area. Your Profile Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired through experience. 3-4 years of work experience as a mechanical design engineer Good knowledge of relevant standards within process and mechanical engineering, particularly PED and ASME. Good skills in English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Swedish is advantageous. Experience with or interest in design work in NX.
