About the Different Roles Mechanic As a mechanic with us, you'll have varied work where you get to work on both preventive and emergency maintenance of our mechanical equipment. Your main tasks include ensuring operational efficiency and contributing to a safe and effective facility. You'll troubleshoot, perform repairs, maintain static and rotating equipment, and work on improvement projects as well as quality and environmental enhancements. Instrumentation Technician In this role, you'll work to maintain the refinery's production availability through preventive maintenance and corrective repairs of control, regulation, and instrumentation equipment. Your daily work includes installation, troubleshooting, and calibration of industrial instruments, as well as maintenance of sensors, valves, and regulators in low-voltage and control systems environments. Electrician As an electrician at Nynas, you'll perform corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment/process instruments at the Refinery. You'll support production managers with specialized electrical expertise and assist with operational disruptions. The work includes electrical installation and maintenance in industrial low and medium-voltage systems in accordance with company guidelines and practices. About You We're looking for someone who has: Relevant education in your technical field Several years of experience as a mechanic, instrumentation technician, or electrician Swedish and English proficiency, both spoken and written A valid driver's license Previous experience working in industry, such as heat/power plants or process industry, is a plus About Nynas Moving Forward for Sustainable Social Transformation Nynas is a specialty chemicals company that produces high-performance bitumen and naphthenic solutions essential for infrastructure, electrification, and other industrial applications.
