Location: Billesholm Start: Immediately Assignment Duration: 6 months with good opportunities for extension Scope: Full-time, daytime 07:00-16:00 About the Mechanic Position As a mechanic, you will be an important part of the maintenance department where you work together with mechanics, electrical and automation technicians, and other functions within production. The role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance with a focus on ensuring high operational reliability and minimizing production downtime. Work is performed both in workshop environments and on production lines. Some tasks take place in hot environments as parts of production are connected to melting processes. Examples of Work Tasks: Troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of machinery and production equipment Perform planned and preventive maintenance Welding in TIG and metal arc Bearing assembly and repair, troubleshooting, and refurbishment of production equipment Work both in the workshop and in production Participate in improvement work and projects within operational development Collaborate closely with production to optimize processes and reduce downtime Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment About You We are looking for someone with a strong technical interest who enjoys solving problems in a varied daily routine. You are initiative-taking, responsible, and have a strong focus on safety and quality. At the same time, you are a team player who appreciates collaboration between different functions. Since some tasks take place in hot environments, we see that you have good physical capability.
