About the Job:
As a Rig Mechanic, you will work with assembly, customization, and maintenance of test equipment and rigs. The role involves close collaboration with colleagues in the testing operations where you contribute to ensuring high quality and availability of technical equipment.
The work is varied and includes both mechanical work and technical problem-solving. You become an important part of the operation by supporting both during ongoing tests and after completed tests.
Examples of work tasks:
Build and prepare test materials
Build and prepare rigs
Manufacture parts from drawings
Perform sheet metal processing in machine shop
Support operations during and after completed tests
Participate in and drive continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
Contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-functioning workshop environment
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, engaged, and has a strong drive to make things happen. You enjoy solving problems and see opportunities where others see challenges. You work in a structured and thorough manner and understand the importance of getting things right from the start. We see that you have:
Experience working in a mechanical workshop or workshop technical education
Some competence in electrical and PLC systems
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Good computer skills
Experience with continuous improvement work
Meritorious:
C or CE driver's license
Experience working with test equipment or rigs
Experience from industrial operations or manufacturing environment
