About the Position Ikett is now seeking a driven and committed mechanic specializing in heavy vehicles/machinery for our client in Trelleborg! We're looking for a mechanic for a varied and developmental position where you combine workshop work with on-site customer work. You will work broadly – everything from servicing and repairing tools and pumps to excavators and other heavy vehicles. It's practical and physical work where you get your hands dirty, work in all kinds of weather – but also a job where you truly see the results of your efforts and get to challenge your problem-solving skills in the field. Working hours are daytime. Start immediately or by agreement. Your Profile For this role, we're looking for someone who: - Has a strong interest in machines, vehicles, and technology - Enjoys solving problems and thinking independently – you find your own solutions - Feels comfortable working in the field, regardless of weather - Has experience in mechanics, hydraulics, and/or electrical work (advantageous) - Education or previous experience with heavy machinery and vehicles, either privately or professionally You don't need to know everything from the start – what matters most is your curiosity, drive, and willingness to develop! As a person, we want you to be responsible, goal-oriented, flexible, positive, organized, and have good collaboration skills since the work takes place at our customers' sites.
