We are now looking for a mechanic who wants to help ensure operational reliability at Stora Enso! JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a Mechanic at the cardboard mill at Stora Enso Skoghall, you will play a central role in ensuring the availability and operational reliability of the machinery. You will be responsible for both preventive and ongoing maintenance of the production facility's machines and equipment. By following safety regulations, you will ensure that work is always performed in a safe and responsible manner. In this role, you will work with both planned maintenance initiatives and emergency measures to ensure safe and efficient production. You will work closely with production, operations personnel, and other maintenance functions to identify improvement opportunities and contribute to high availability in the facility. Your main responsibilities include: Performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance. Troubleshooting and repairing production equipment. Participating in planned revision and shutdown maintenance. Contributing to improvement and development work within maintenance. Documenting completed work in maintenance systems. Contributing to a safe work environment by following applicable procedures and safety regulations. PERSONAL QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a complete high school education and/or post-secondary education in technology, industry, mechanics, or maintenance, or equivalent education. We would appreciate it if you have work experience from similar tasks. We also believe that you have a strong interest in the mechanical field and enjoy problem-solving. You are responsible, thorough, and committed, with the ability to work both independently and in a team, always with safety as a focus. Together with your team, you want to find the best solutions and have the drive to contribute to an efficient and reliable operation. This role requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as good computer skills.
