About the Position Södra is one of Sweden's largest forest industry groups where we work together with our members to develop sustainable forestry. Within our operations, our nurseries contribute to the forests of the future by producing high-quality plants with a strong focus on development, efficiency, and safety. We are now seeking a mechanic for our nursery in Falkenberg who wants to contribute to stable operations and continued development of our activities. What You Will Work With at Södra In your role as a mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work both operationally and coordinatively with the maintenance of machines and equipment in the nursery's operations. You will work with, for example: Preventive and corrective maintenance Planning and coordination of ongoing maintenance tasks Monitoring of downtime and improvement work Procurement and ordering of spare parts and external resources Adjustment of speeds and changeover times for optimal production Collaboration with production managers and shift leaders in daily work Participation in improvement work and technical projects Training of new staff and support in production when needed This is a permanent full-time position based in Falkenberg. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on role where you take responsibility, plan, and drive your work forward. You are organized, self-driven, and have a strong focus on safety.
