The Assignment
As MAS, you are responsible for ensuring that municipal healthcare is conducted with good quality and high patient safety, in accordance with, among other things:
The Health and Medical Care Act (HSL)
The Patient Safety Act (PSL)
The Health and Medical Care Ordinance
The Patient Act and Patient Data Act
The assignment includes:
Ensuring that laws, regulations and guidelines are followed – both in-house and with external providers
Monitor, analyze and develop healthcare within KSON's areas of responsibility
Develop and update guidelines and governing documents
Responsible for overall patient safety work
Be an expert and provide support on medical matters to managers, colleagues and providers
Drive quality development and working methods together with operations and partners
Contribute to monitoring of contracts and quality in care conducted on behalf of KSON
You work independently, but in close collaboration with MAR, colleagues and operations.

What you need to bring
Requirements
Licensed nurse with specialist training in, for example, elderly care or cognitive diseases, or experience as a district nurse
At least five years of work experience in municipal healthcare
Experience with strategic patient safety work at an overall level
Documented experience of collaboration and relationship building in complex organizations
Meritorious
Experience of MAS assignments or similar strategic roles
Experience working in a leadership role
Broad experience from multiple areas within healthcare

You build strong professional relationships, have an aptitude for creating collaboration and contribute to a constructive work environment even in complex contexts. Welcome to us
Healthcare and Care in Norrtälje (KSON) is a unique collaboration between Norrtälje Municipality and Region Stockholm. The task is to meet the healthcare and care needs of municipal residents. KSON thus has unique conditions to seamlessly meet residents' needs for effective, comprehensive solutions and is governed by a board with elected representatives from Region Stockholm and Norrtälje Municipality. Part of the Norrtälje Model.
KSON has contracts with many providers and also operates care and welfare services in-house through the wholly owned company Tiohundra AB. The budget amounts to approximately SEK 4.8 billion and we currently have about 120 employees with mainly procurement, ownership and regulatory assignments at the administration.
We work with procurement, monitoring and development of care and welfare services in close collaboration with both private providers and the wholly owned company Tiohundra AB.
Here there are conditions to work with comprehensiveness, quality and development for real.
For this role, the starting salary is normally between SEK 48,000 - 55,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
For permanent employment, a probationary period may be applied.
