The Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine administrative unit consists of 18 medical records administrators and 4 administrators. The personnel are distributed across the operation's four clinics in the county:
Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic at Örebro University Hospital
Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic at Stora Holmen
Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic at Karlskoga Hospital
Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic at Lindsberg Hospital
In addition to clinics, the operation has two care units, day care, and a paramedical unit. You will work closely with other professions, so collaboration skills and service awareness are of great importance. At the Pediatric and Adolescent Clinic at Örebro University Hospital, a total of 13 medical records administrators and two administrators work.
The administrative unit is a central function in the operation that ensures all administrative processes work and that patients receive the care and support they need. The unit works with, among other things: patient registration, medical record documentation, scheduling and coordination, communication and information, billing and financial management, document and mail handling and archiving, IT support to care staff and reception work.
Job Duties
The position includes typical tasks for a medical records administrator, including documentation, diagnosis classification, referral handling and patient scheduling, as well as other administrative duties. The content of the work may vary depending on your area of responsibility.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as a medical records administrator and who enjoy varied healthcare administrative tasks. You have excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
