Duties
The position includes typical MRA tasks such as medical documentation, diagnosis coding, mail handling, referral processing, reception work, and other administrative duties as needed. We are a regional clinic where we help each other.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is trained as a medical records administrator, medical secretary, or physician's secretary. You have strong knowledge of the Swedish language and can express yourself well in speech and writing. We value qualities such as good interpersonal skills, collaboration and initiative, and accountability. Knowledge of the hospital's patient care system is a merit; we work in the Cosmic medical record system.
Participating in development and change work is something we see as a natural part of the job. Great weight is placed on personal suitability.

About the Operation
The Sense Center operational area is a new operational area within Region Örebro County that includes the specialties of Otolaryngology (ENT), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Venereology, Orofacial Medicine (OFM), and Plastic Surgery. Operations are conducted at Universitetssjukhuset Örebro (USÖ), as well as at the regional hospitals in Karlskoga and Lindesberg. The purpose of the merger is to strengthen strategic coordination and create a common infrastructure, improve/optimize care flows and collaboration regarding hospital beds, and create synergy effects, such as within skin surgery centers. We also see that it will strengthen the academic profile with increased research and coordination of support functions, and clarify and profile highly specialized care within the area of the sensory organs—regionally and nationally. The new operational area will include approximately 420 employees working at Region Örebro County's three hospitals.
