We are now looking for a medical secretary to join our team! We offer a permanent position at 90% with a start date by agreement.

Your Role
As a medical secretary with us, you will have a varied and meaningful role where you are a key person in the operation. You will spend approximately half your time on medical record documentation and ensure high quality in our documentation. The other half of your time you will meet our patients at the reception – you will be our face to the public and contribute to a warm, respectful, and professional reception. Here you make a real difference in the patient's first impression of our care. In addition to this work, you will handle important administrative functions such as:
• Work with HSA catalog
• Heroma administration
• Invoice handling
• IT support
• Other administrative tasks that contribute to smooth operations.
You will become part of a larger primary care context where collaboration between healthcare centers occurs, including dictation transcription services. We also offer regular joint training days to strengthen your competence and development. Your Qualifications
We are looking for someone with training as a medical secretary who wants to contribute to an operation where quality and patient care are in focus, with experience in scheduling administration. You have worked as a medical secretary for at least one year within primary care. As a person, you are thorough, structured, and methodical, self-directed and proactive, flexible and easily adapt to changes. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You have a good ability to prioritize and enjoy a role where work tasks vary. To thrive with us, it is important that you appreciate meeting with people and want to provide service with high quality. You treat both patients and colleagues with respect and consideration, and you actively contribute to good collaboration and a positive work environment.
Our Facilities
Gimo Healthcare Center with branch locations in Alunda and Österbybruk has approximately 12,000 registered patients and about 60 employees. We have a great interest in education and research, especially for our own staff. This is highly appreciated by both the nursing and physician staff. With us, flexibility, interest in development, and providing residents with good service are highly valued. All professional areas within the healthcare center's mission are represented, and we also have a youth clinic. You will have great opportunities to help shape the operation and take responsibility for certain assignments or areas of activity.
Gimo Healthcare Center is centrally located in Gimo, 50 kilometers northeast of Uppsala.
Alunda DSK clinic is where construction has started for a brand new healthcare center. It is 40 kilometers from Uppsala.
Österbybruk Healthcare Center is a small family-oriented healthcare center that is also 50 kilometers northeast of Uppsala.
From Gimo, you have 17 minutes, approximately 20 kilometers by car to the coast and Östhammar. There are good commuting options by bus and car to our healthcare centers.
