We are now seeking a medical secretary for our facility in Limhamn. You will become part of our administrative team and take on a central role in patient-related administrative work.
About Us
Surgery Center Skåne/Vein Center is a highly specialized clinic that conducts surgical operations, both privately financed and commissioned by the public healthcare system. Our operations include consultations, surgery, and follow-up care.
The clinic is located in modern facilities in Limhamn, where all operations are conducted under one roof. We currently perform surgery in areas including obesity, hernia, endocrine surgery, gallbladder surgery, and vein treatment.
About the Role
As a medical secretary, you will work together with your colleagues to ensure that patient-related administrative work functions efficiently and with high quality. You will collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, and other staff members in the clinic.
Your duties will include:
· Handling and coordinating incoming referrals
· Medical documentation in Melior, work in Pasis and CGM J4
· Phone contact and phone management via TeleQ
· Other patient-related administrative tasks
Qualifications
You are trained as a medical secretary in healthcare administration, with 80 points KY or 400 points YH education. Alternatively, you have another recognized medical secretary or physician secretary training.
You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, good knowledge of medical terminology, and good knowledge of English.
Experience with Melior, Pasis, CGM J4, and diagnosis classification is a plus. We would like to see that you have previous work experience as a medical secretary. We also welcome newly trained professionals who have great initiative and can quickly develop and take responsibility in the role.
