We are now seeking a medical secretary to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. Adult habilitation clinics serve individuals over 18 years old with autism, intellectual disabilities, and/or mobility impairments. The operations are conducted according to the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities (LSS), the Advice and Support service. We also serve family members and staff. The operations are conducted in multidisciplinary teams with occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, and secretaries. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a medical secretary, you have a central role in the operation and contribute to creating good conditions for both patients and employees. You are an important part of the clinic's administrative support and work closely with both colleagues within your own profession and other professional groups in the multidisciplinary team. The work is varied and includes typical medical secretary tasks such as medical record management, documentation, referral handling, letter writing, and other administrative tasks related to patient processes. The role also includes providing service and administrative support to the operation as well as handling patient contacts via phone, digital channels, and during clinic visits. You participate in the development of administrative routines and working methods to contribute to a well-functioning operation with high quality and good service. As a medical secretary in habilitation, you work closely with other medical secretaries and professionals at the clinic to together create the best possible support for patients, family members, and employees. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have education in healthcare administration 80 points KY or 400 points YH, or equivalent medical secretary training. You have good knowledge of medical terminology and good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. You also have good computer skills and experience working with various administrative systems as well as good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite. It is advantageous if you have previous experience working as a medical secretary in healthcare. If you have experience with medical record systems and other administrative systems used in healthcare, we also see that as a positive. To thrive in the role, you are service-oriented, structured, and responsible. You have good ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work and can adapt when circumstances change. Since the work involves many contact points, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and professional demeanor. You work independently, take initiative within your area of responsibility, and are happy to contribute to the operation's development and improvement work.
