State Limited Liability Company "Paula Stradiņa Clinical University Hospital" (Registration No. 40003457109) invites applications for Medical Assistant (Application System for STUDENTS) Key duties: perform patient assessments and ensure care for department patients; perform patient preparation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as prescribed by physicians; ensure patients receive medications prescribed by physicians; etc. Requirements for candidates: ability to prioritize, capacity to respond quickly and act in emergency situations; excellent communication skills, accuracy, high sense of responsibility; ability to work independently and as part of a team; mandatory knowledge of the state language. Students from the following programs may apply for positions in this field: a student of the "Nursing" program who has earned at least 80 credit points and passed the exam in the course "Clinical Care"; a student of the "Physician Assistant" program who has earned at least 80 credit points and passed the exam in the course "Clinical Care"; a student of the "Medicine" program after the 3rd year of studies and who has earned at least 120 study credit points and passed the exam in the course "Fundamentals of Clinical Care". We offer: base hourly rate for medical assistants 6.15 EUR/h Gross; additional payments in accordance with labor law and collective agreement (for night shifts, for length of service, etc.); additional variable pay component (amount depends on achievement of work objectives); facilitated conditions for medical care at the Hospital; free psychoemotional support for Hospital employees; responsible, dynamic and interesting work.
