We're looking for an associate for our photo lab – someone with an interest in photography, technology, and quality who wants to be part of our dedicated team. In this role, you'll work with the production of image products and help ensure that daily production runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll be an important part of the business where precision, service, and an eye for image quality are key to the final result. Your workdays will consist of a mix of image production, customer contact, and hands-on lab work. You'll produce prints, photo gifts, canvas prints, and other image products while maintaining high quality throughout the production process. You'll work closely with colleagues in both the shop and lab, helping customers find the right solutions based on their needs. Together, you'll ensure every customer receives personal attention and an experience that meets high expectations. Part of the job also involves helping maintain order and structure in the lab and noticing any maintenance or service needs with the equipment. You should therefore be practical, detail-oriented, and interested in the technology behind production. Key Responsibilities As a Photo & Image Production Associate, you'll: Produce analog and digital image products. Create photo prints, canvas prints, and other specialty products. Assist customers via email, phone, and in-person meetings. Ensure production and deliveries maintain high quality standards. Maintain machines and equipment to ensure optimal function. Coordinate service and plan preventive maintenance. Work with image handling and color control. Help keep the lab organized, clean, and running smoothly. Manage material orders and help ensure proper inventory levels. Collaborate with colleagues to develop routines and processes. Assist in the shop when needed and provide customers with professional advice. What We Believe You Bring: Experience from a photo lab, image production, or similar environment. Strong interest in photography and good knowledge of analog photography (required) and digital image handling. Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and comfortable with hands-on work. Good technical understanding and enjoy problem-solving. Service-minded and enjoy helping customers. Work well in a team and contribute to a positive work environment. Flexible and able to help in both the lab and shop as needed.
