This is initially a consulting assignment of approximately 6 months through Unik Resurs with excellent opportunities for extension. Tasks and Responsibilities Would you like to work with advanced technology and contribute to the development of future gas turbines? We are now looking for a Mechanical Integrity Engineer to join a team working on mechanical integrity and service life assessment of turbine components. In this role, you will be an important part of development projects where you analyze and ensure component strength and service life. You will be based at the office in Finspång, with the opportunity to work remotely when needed. Your Tasks As a Mechanical Integrity Engineer, you will, among other things: Perform strength and service life analyses using the finite element method (FEA) and other numerical models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data that forms the basis for calculations and assessments. Contribute to the development and improvement of methods and processes for service life analyses. Ensure that analyses and calculations maintain high technical quality. Your Profile We are looking for someone who has A university or engineering degree in mechanical engineering or another relevant technical field. Experience with structural analyses and a good understanding of underlying principles and analysis methods. Experience with analysis tools such as ABAQUS, HyperWorks, and/or NASGRO. Good English skills, both spoken and written. A collaborative attitude, an analytical approach, and a willingness to develop together with the team.
