In the role of Mechanical Design Engineer, you develop robust and manufacturing-adapted installation solutions in close collaboration with multiple engineering disciplines. You become an important part of the work from design to verification and production support. About the role Work with mechanical design in the chassis area for heavy vehicles. Develop installation solutions for electrical components, wiring, and interfaces. Contribute to modular, scalable, and quality-assured design solutions. Collaborate with global teams within product development, production, and design. What you will do Design and develop installation solutions in CATIA V5. Create brackets, cable holders, and strain relief solutions. Support integration, validation, design reviews, and technical documentation. Collaborate with internal engineering teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturability. Contribute to improvement of digital tools and design processes. We are looking for someone who has Relevant higher education or university degree in, for example, mechanical engineering. At least two years of experience in mechanical design. Experience in sheet metal design and principles of manufacturability. Experience in chassis integration, preferably in heavy vehicles or the automotive industry. Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and drive design matters forward.
