Company Presentation For our client Siemens Energy, a leading global player in the energy industry, we are now seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for an assignment at their site in Finspång. Thanks to high-tech and innovative product development, the company is an established partner in the energy sector that delivers advanced and sustainable solutions for the market's current and future needs. Through this assignment, you will have the opportunity to work in an international and forward-thinking environment with many development possibilities. This is initially a consulting assignment for 9 months via Unik Resurs with excellent potential for extension. We apply continuous selection, which means the assignment may be filled before the final application deadline. Tasks and Responsibilities You will become part of an R&D team of 12 skilled engineers working to develop and improve gas turbine engines. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external functions, such as production and procurement, where you contribute technical expertise to ensure high quality and continuous improvements. Your main tasks will be to: Develop and design components for gas turbine engines. Drive improvement efforts for existing products. Handle improvement suggestions for compressor components. Investigate and follow up on quality deviations and Non Conformance Reports (NCR) from production and procurement. Provide technical support to Procurement and Manufacturing, both internally and externally. In your daily work, you will primarily use Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and SAP. Your Profile You have a civil or technical engineering degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent knowledge through experience. You are solution-oriented, driven, and enjoy taking responsibility. You are a team player who contributes to an effective and well-functioning team. You have experience with 3D CAD modeling. You have very good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written—this is a requirement. You have experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer—this is considered meritorious.
