Here you will become part of an experienced design team where production is located right next to the office, giving you the opportunity to follow your designs all the way from idea to finished product. We are now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to develop in a broad role with great personal responsibility and the opportunity to influence both products and working methods. About the Role You will become part of our design team and work closely with colleagues in design, production, procurement, sales, and project management. The role involves you being involved throughout the entire project – from understanding customer needs and developing technical solutions to supporting production and following the installation at the customer's site. The work is varied and includes both design work and technical problem-solving. Many of the challenges involve finding smart and sustainable solutions to everyday technical problems as well as adapting products according to customer wishes. Your Responsibilities Develop design drawings for welded structures and mechanical components. Perform technical calculations and dimensioning. Create drawings, bill of materials (BoM), and technical documentation. Participate in project planning and preparation. Contribute to technical solutions based on customer needs. Provide technical input for quotations and pricing. Offer technical support to production and contribute to continuous improvements. We Are Looking for Someone Who Holds a degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent from a university or technical college. Has approximately 2–3 years of experience in mechanical design. Has experience working in a 3D CAD system. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD 2D, and PLM system Vault is a plus. Has good technical understanding of mechanical design, strength of materials, and materials science. Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English. Holds a valid driver's license (category B). It is an advantage if you have experience with Hydraulics. Electrical or control systems. Materials knowledge. Welded structures. Manufacturing industry or other practical technical background.
