We are now seeking a senior production technician with a focus on metallurgy and hot pressing—a role where you combine technical depth with concrete impact in production. About the Role This role emphasizes understanding and developing the interaction between material and process. You ensure that material behaves optimally throughout the entire manufacturing chain and that processes are stable, efficient, and quality-assured. Through analysis and a structured approach, you drive improvements and further develop methods that strengthen production over time. As a senior production technician with a focus on metallurgy and hot pressing, you have a clear specialist responsibility and a driving role within your area. You combine technical depth with practical understanding and translate advanced technical reasoning into concrete decisions in the business. At the same time, you are a natural knowledge bearer who contributes direction, clarity, and development to the organization. You will be part of an environment with high engagement, clear ambition, and a strong desire to continue developing. Who We're Looking For We are seeking someone with a technical university degree and several years of experience working with materials and production processes in an industrial environment. You have a good understanding of materials science, particularly as it relates to metals such as aluminum, brass, and copper, and are experienced with blueprint reading and production planning. You have experience working systematically with quality and process development, and are comfortable with the fundamentals of, for example, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and MSA. You also have a natural focus on creating stable, repeatable processes and clear working methods. It is a merit if you have experience with improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma, have worked with CAD tools like SolidWorks, or with simulation software such as QForm or equivalent. Knowledge of quality and environmental standards such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 is also viewed favorably. As a person, you are confident, analytical, structured, and persistent, with the ability to translate technical understanding into practical improvements in production. You are communicative and collaborate easily, while being confident in your assessments and standing behind your decisions. You see possibilities where others see limitations, and you thrive in an environment where you can have real influence. The position is located in Mora and involves working close to production.
