About the role As a Deck Crew Member aboard vessels operating in Sweden, you'll work with deck operations including mooring, cargo loading and unloading, maintenance of deck and equipment, and watch-keeping. The role is practical and often physically demanding, and you'll work closely with officers and crew to ensure safe and efficient operations. What you'll do Perform mooring and unmooring in connection with arrival and departure Assist with cargo loading, securing, and unloading Perform routine maintenance and repairs on deck and equipment Keep watch and monitor ship systems as directed by officers Assist with navigation and participate in safety procedures and drills Work safely with machinery and lifting equipment and report deviations Collaborate with crew to maintain efficient operations and a good work environment What you bring STCW basic safety training or equivalent certificate Maritime experience and documented work experience aboard vessels Good physical fitness and ability to work shifts You are driven and take responsibility for your work You deliver high quality, every time You collaborate and bring out the best in the people around you You always want to learn and help others learn at every workplace Salary and employment form There are opportunities for full-time, part-time, or assignments as needed – and salary and employment form are shaped in conversation with SuperRen based on your experience, your goals, and the match to the workplace.
