We are now seeking a passionate, curious, and enthusiastic Culinary Unit Manager who will build, inspire, and lead a team where service mindset and teamwork are central, while maintaining strong customer relationships. In your role as Unit Manager, you will have the opportunity to influence and develop your restaurant through strong and clear leadership. You will be responsible for the restaurant's budget and performance both operationally and in terms of quality. You have full personnel responsibility and follow laws, regulations, and Compass Group's policies, rules, and values. Your responsibilities include reporting to your direct manager and various head office functions. You will organize and structure daily operations and ensure a good work environment at the workplace. You will also develop and follow up on the contract by defining and presenting new solutions based on the customer's needs and wishes. About the Restaurant The restaurant is located on the premises of one of our major customers. We serve breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, and catering. We are open Monday to Friday 7:30-15:00. The team on-site consists of 3 people. We need to strengthen the team with a clear leader on-site who is also a skilled chef. The unit is somewhat smaller but has potential for development with the right person in place. Who are you? - You have higher education or equivalent - You have at least 2 years of experience with personnel and profit responsibility - You have at least 3 years of experience working in a restaurant - You have analytical abilities and are results-oriented - You have the ability to plan and structure work effectively - You have the ability to lead and delegate work and implement well-thought-out decisions - You are attentive and responsive with good knowledge of employment law and workplace environment - You are creative and solution-oriented - You recognize the importance of satisfied customers, are positive, stress-resilient, and work well collaboratively and communicate effectively - Through your passion, you take responsibility for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver - You enjoy fast-paced days, can take initiative on your own, and are flexible in your professional role - You speak and write Swedish and English fluently - You have good computer skills and knowledge of Office365 About Compass Group We are part of Compass Group, a world-leading provider of food, beverage, and support services.
