Do you have a handle on material flows, planning, and logistics and are driven to develop better ways of working and make things function more efficiently? We are now looking for you to take a key role in our material supply and contribute to an efficient and well-functioning maintenance operation. About the Role As a Materials Planner, you work within the material supply unit in the Vehicles production unit. You have a central role in developing and optimizing material flows, inventory management, and supplier collaborations. Your task is to ensure that the right material is in the right place at the right time so that our maintenance operations have optimal conditions to conduct efficient operations from an inventory and material supply perspective. You will be based at our depot in Älvsjö with trips to our other depots in Södertälje and Bro. Your Main Responsibilities Optimize order points, safety stock, and other material management parameters Develop and streamline material flows for both consumables and repairable items Follow up and ensure supplier delivery capability Prepare and monitor forecasts and plans in collaboration with other functions Identify improvement areas and drive development initiatives Participate in investigations and development of working methods and systems What We're Looking For You have a degree as an engineer in logistics/procurement or equivalent Very good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel Good system experience. Experience with Maximo is a merit Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Several years of experience in material supply, logistics, or inventory management Good understanding of material flows, forecasting, and overhaul processes You are structured, analytical, and enjoy working both operatively and from a development perspective You have the ability to manage multiple contact points and collaborate effectively You are communicative, driven, and good at converting decisions into action Experience in rail, vehicle management, or technical operations as well as knowledge of overhaul flows and repairable components is a merit Application and Information Selection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
