As a materials planner for our client, you'll become an important part of the company's supply chain and ensure that the right material is in the right place at the right time. About the Position We at Perido are looking for a materials planner for our client, a successful automotive company located in Skövde. Your Responsibilities As a materials planner, you ensure that the company's factories keep running and that customers get what they need, when they need it. The role will focus on efficiently and appropriately ensuring material supply from suppliers to our production facilities. This is done primarily by analyzing and acting on late/early deliveries and other warnings and alarms to ensure on-time deliveries and that material is available at the point of use. Your main responsibilities: Daily monitor deliveries from suppliers according to call-offs and act on deviations Handle deviations quickly and make decisions in the most cost-effective way to minimize the risk of disruptions, for example by managing express and emergency transportation Communicate risks and critical items to internal stakeholders Ensure correct master data that is critical for MRP calculations Monitor inventory levels to control stock and avoid shortages or overstock Monitor MRP alarms (for example missing ASNs) and take necessary actions Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and colleagues to manage risks and supply chain crises Continuously work on improvements to increase operational efficiency within your area of responsibility, for example through optimization of inventory, transportation, and work methods Your Qualities To thrive in this role, you need to be structured, analytical, and engaged, and have the ability to perform and thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
